Spring Smoothie: Organic Hemp and Almond Butter

Spring represents renewal, and there’s no better time to refocus (or start!) healthy habits. Smoothies are a great way to get nutrients directly into your body, which absorbs liquids much more easily than solids.

Many smoothie powders pack a punch of protein and vitamins, but not all are created equal. Serves 1
Preparation Time: Under 5 minutes

1 cup organic almond milk (you can also substitute with coconut or regular organic milk)
2 tablespoons organic plain yogurt or kefir
1 tablespoon organic almond butter
2 tablespoons Manitoba Harvest Hemp Powder (I like the Dark Chocolate flavor)
1 organic banana
1 teaspoon Camu Camu powder

Recipe Instructions
Combine all ingredients in blender (I use The Magic Bullet).  Blend until smooth and drink up!
